Hello peeps, today we&rsquo;re going to take our Git journey one step further. We&rsquo;ll understand the push and pull requests in-depth, and we will also look forward to authorize our system with our GitHub account.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
First of all, I want all of you to create an account on GitHub. Head over to the <a href="http://github.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Github.com</a>. Signup if you haven&rsquo;t done it already; otherwise, simply login to your GitHub account.
&nbsp;
Now, we will follow some steps to authorize our system with a GitHub account.
&nbsp;
Step1: Go to the profile option on the top right corner of GitHub, and click on the &ldquo;Settings&rdquo; option. You&rsquo;ll get a window like this.

Step 2: Go to the &ldquo;SSH and GPG keys&rdquo; option, and you will see the screen like the below image.

Step 3: Now, we have to perform several commands on Git bash on our system.
Command 1: ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "your_email@example.com"

After executing the above command, it will ask for several things, but you have to simply press enter again and again. And then you&rsquo;ll get a screen like this:

Command 2: eval "$(ssh-agent -s)"
Command 3: ssh-add ~/.ssh/id_ed25519
Command 4: clip &lt; ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub

After executing the above commands, your Git bash will look something like this.

Step 4: Your SSH key is already copied to the clipboard, now go to the GitHub website and click on the &ldquo;New SSH key&rdquo; button.

Step 5: Paste the copied SSH key in the Key field and give any title.

Then click on the &ldquo;Add SSH key&rdquo; button; after this, it will ask you to confirm your GitHub password.&nbsp;

Step 6: After confirming your password, your GitHub will look something like this.

Here, you&rsquo;ve successfully authorized your system with your GitHub account.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Now, you can use commands such as push or pull to put or fetch content from GitHub.

<h3>Creating a repository on GitHub</h3>
Here are the steps to create a GitHub repository:

Step 1: In the top right corner, there&rsquo;s a plus sign. Click on it and then choose the new repository option.

Step 2: Give an appropriate name and description to the repository, and then click on create repository button.

With this, you&rsquo;ve successfully created your first repository.

Let&rsquo;s go ahead and push our first local Git repo to GitHub.
&nbsp;
You&rsquo;ve to use the following commands after opening Git bash in the local repository folder.
&nbsp;
Command 1: git remote add origin git@github.com:codewithharry/Git-tut.git&nbsp;

The above command adds the remote repository.
&nbsp;
Command 2: git push -u origin master
The above command will push all the content of your local repository to the remote repository.
&nbsp;
Suppose you want to pull content from your remote repository, then you can execute the following command.

Alright, we&rsquo;ve done a lot of stuff in this tutorial. We&rsquo;ve authorized our system with GitHub, and then we have pushed our local repository to the Github.
